We are always working on improving Alloc8 and this month we released a number of new features and improvements to Alloc8. This included many new features that we know will provide our customers with improved visibility, compliance and workflow efficiencies. 

Important Information for Xero Customers

If you are a new customer and are using Xero, you can now connect to Xero yourself under the 'Integrations' tab. This release will also require existing customers to reconnect. Connect using Xero OAuth2 in Alloc8.

Rate Card and Invoicing Updates

There have been a number of fixes and changes to Rate Cards and invoicing in this release. While none of these changes will affect how items are billed, the way invoice line items are displayed may look slightly different. See all updates.

New Features and Improvements

Exclude Set Up and Pack Up from Invoice

The Set Up and Pack Up feature can be used to exclude this recorded time from your workers’ shift hours on the job invoice, if you do not charge certain clients for Set Up and Pack Up time. If you want to enable this feature in Alloc8, please talk to your CSM. Feature Documentation >

Receive an email when a Job is rejected

On the branch page you will now see a Email Addresses section. Add a new email address and select Scheduling Alerts from the drop down to receive an email every time a job is rejected. This includes jobs that are auto rejected via notification expiry.

COVID19 Compliance: Contact Tracing Report

If one of your workers tests positive to COVID19 you can easily trace where and who they've worked with. A new report 'Employee Contact Tracing' is available under Reports. This report will allow you to select an employee and show all other employees they have worked with over a 4 week look back period.

New Report: Award and Classification Mismatch

If you have updated a company award and chosen to update all open tickets (a feature from our last release), you can now run a report prior to payroll to check if there are any employee timesheets with classifications that do not match the new award.
